千 - Thousand
A samurai tilts his bend stroke sword (丿) across the sky,
then plants a glowing Ten cross (十) on the ground.
From this clash bursts 千, the mark of a Thousand.
Paper cranes (千羽鶴, senbazuru) swirl up-folded for peace, each whispering sen, sen, sen like a thousand breaths.
And just like in Spirited Away, Chihiro’s name is cut to Sen (千)-a single mark carrying weight beyond counting.
