yo
Index #177
Grade 2
3 strokes
This prime comes from the katakana ヨ (yo) (but looks like 彐 sometimes, among other forms). When this appears once (ex. 雪 (Snow)), it means gangster (who can be heard saying "yo" often), but when it appears twice (ex. 曜 (Weekday)) it means yo-yo.
