琴 - Harp
A tiny crowned King plucks the Harp - two jade beads glint like a crown and one bright きーん rings across the tatami. A stick-figure standing Now under a low roof taps the Harp's bridge and the moment freezes: つるん, the present caught in sound. The long body of the Harp exhales paulownia grain and silk strings; say 琴 - Harp - and you hear こ-と, poron, the image locking in.
