暮 - Livelihood
In old Japan, a family's Livelihood was marked by offering a flower at dusk, when the Sun, Day sank low and cast long shadows over the Large fields they worked. This daily ritual symbolized gratitude for survival, echoing the phrase 暮らす (kurasu), 'to live one's life,' tied to the cycles of sunset and sustenance.
