宜 - Best Regards
In old Kyoto, a merchant bows beneath a tiled roof, practicing the tea-ceremony pause where one whispers “Best Regards” with calm grace.
On his table lies a tablet carved with the word also, reminding him that greetings are more than words-they are “and another” gift of goodwill.
Together, roof and also form the character of Best Regards-a shelter of respect plus the promise of more, echoing through every “yoroshiku” in Japan.
