六 - Six
A pot lid (亠) clatters open like a temple bell-clang!
Out spill the strokes of Eight (八), splitting apart like two paths.
Inside waits Jizō with his six-ringed staff, each ring chiming for one of the Six Realms (Rokudō).
He laughs, “ろく-ろく!”-a rhythm like rock and roll, echoing the number 六 itself.
So remember: lid on top, eight below, and the jingle of six worlds keeping the beat.
